Getting Clean from Drug Addiction is Like Finding a Pot of Gold

I got clean on January 9, 2014. After 13 years of opioid use and abuse, I finally found my solution. I failed inpatient rehab, relapsed over and over again until finding the one and only thing that would prevent me from using drugs — Suboxone.

For me to get clean I had to find an outpatient rehab in Nashville that would prescribe Suboxone and provide me with private therapy sessions. Nashville Suboxone Recovery is the perfect place for anyone in Nashville to get clean. They genuinely care about you as a person and your recovery.

Suboxone has a negative stigma in some circles, and is even misunderstood in the medical community. I’ve eavesdropped on pharmacist’s and heard them say, “Suboxone is just as bad as narcotics”, which is pure ignorance.

Suboxone saved my life, and then made my life a whole lot better. How? Subcone allowed me to feel “normal” after I stopped taking oxycodone and OxyContin, which I had done daily since the year 2000. I was very chemically dependent, and willing to inject ANY opioid or narcotic drug to prevent me from going into withdrawal.

Drugs like hydrocodone, oxycodone, OxyContin, Opana, etc, were all acceptable to me. I resorted to buying drugs on the street and even stealing medications from friends and family. That’s how bad it gets — you’ll do most anything to prevent yourself from getting sick. The withdrawals are devastating when you stop taking opioids.

It doesn't matter if it grew from a poppy plant or was made in a lab, opioids can be extremely addictive. So addictive, that my brother Jeff lost his life to overdose. He was an intelligent person with many talents, who could not live a day without opioids in his blood. If Suboxone had been available to him he’d probably still be alive.

The Truth About Suboxone

  • Suboxone was specifically engineered to eliminate withdrawals and cravings caused by stopping opioid use.
  • Suboxone can virtually eliminate withdrawals and cravings in less than 40 of dissolving.
  • Suboxone allows you to feel “normal” again, without making you feel “high”.
  • Suboxone has a built-in blocking agent (naloxone) that can help prevent overdose from taking other opioids.
  • Suboxone has a built-in “ceiling” that makes it virtually impossible to take too much. Doctors say it simply stops working after 24 mg is taken.
  • Suboxone allows people to live a normal life, without having to wait weeks or months for withdrawals to stop.
  • Suboxone saved my life, made my life better, and help save my family, my career and many friendships. I owe my life to Suboxone.

If you’re life is wasting away thanks to opioid dependency, don;t waste another minute! Call Nashville Suboxone Recovery today at (615) 431–3701 and let them show you the way to a clean, better way of life that’s free from narcotic drug abuse.
